Stan State students share what makes them feel special.

Stanislaus State students were recently asked the question: What makes YOU feel special? After deep thought, they answer sincerely with what they believe makes them feel special on a day-to-day basis.

Niyali Manada (junior, Art) shared what makes her feel special.

"What makes me feel special is being a part of a sorority. Just knowing that people are there for me and have my back," she said.

Violeta Reyes (senior, Business) shared the importance of recognition and appreciation in her life.

"Often times small acts go unnoticed," she said, "so definitely being appreciated for your work goes long ways."

In the short video feature, we see a range of different ways Stan State students feel special. Whether it's academic recognition, friendships, or certain life situations, we all have something that makes us feel special. What's yours?
