To kick off Wellness Week, Associated Students Inc. Recreation and Wellness staff had a raffle for a chance to win a Beach Cruiser.

In order to participate in the raffle students and faculty would have to ride their bikes to campus while ASI Rec. and Wellness staff were waiting anxiously by the bike racks to hand out the raffle tickets.

Amanda J. Saugstad, the Recreation and Wellness Coordinator said, "It was more faculty and staff than students who participated in the bike to school day."

Some students ride their bikes to school on a regular basis, but there aren't very many.

Sean Schafer, a senior at California State University, Stanislaus almost always rides his bike to school.

"I normally ride my bike because it is cheaper than driving, good exercise, and quicker than walking around campus" said Schafer.
