Alicia Keys coming to Sacramento

Cinco De Mayo is just around the corner but it isn't the only major May entertainment attraction for area students. Singer Alicia Keys will perform at the Arco Arena and live wrestling comes to the Colonia Theater in Sacramento.
The Cinco De Mayo Festival and Parade is a day-long celebration of Mexican-American culture. The festival includes food, arts and crafts, Mariachi, Ballet Folklorico, live music and much more. The festival is going to be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 4 in Downtown Stockton.
The family event is presented by the Coalition of Mexican American Organizations. The parade with floats starts at 11 a.m. in the Weber Institute Parking Lot. Admission to the festival at Weber Point is free.
Keys presents her "As I Am Tour" coming to Arco Arena in Sacramento on Sunday, May 11. The R&B musician and film actress has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide as of 2007 and won numerous awards, including 11 Grammy Awards, 11 Billboard Music Awards, three American Music Awards, and 14 NAACP Image Awards. Tickets range from $37.75 to $123.25.
Live wrestling action, TWF Wrestling, is coming to the Colonial Theater in Sacramento on May 17, 2008.
The TWF Championship match features Anthrax v. Vortex. The Ladder Match for TWF Tag Team Championship is Joey Balls and Ekstazy vs. Scorpion and Michael Nothing. The TWF Television Championship Match is going to be Ron Rufio vs. Anxiety. The Loser Wears a Cheerleading Uniform match features Ashton vs. The Jake. The Juggalo Street Fight is going to be Sick Case vs. Carnie Craig and CJ Profit vs. Orange Tang.
The Colonial Theatre is at 3522 Stockton Blvd.
