Its the home run stretch. We're almost there, the end of the semester is well in sight. There is only one more hurtle, one last hill to climb before the finish line. That hill, or mountain I should say, is Finals.

Finals are supposed to signify the end of a semester. However for me, it feels like the entire semester have been one jumbled midterm of hell. having twenty units, there is no end to midterms, except finals.

But enough of whining. So have I three papers and two tests due tomorrow. And yes, two of the papers and one test are for the same class. But hey, it's over soon, right? I can see it.

Basically, this is no where near the point to give up. Yes, it's the toughest part of the semester. Every hard class you have throw tests at you all at the same time. Not to mention final papers and final presentations. And yes, teachers like to give a final test AND a final paper or presentation. But honestly, it is only a week. Only seven days, you can do it!

So if you're thinking of calling it quits, don't. If you are thinking that it's far to hard to pull through this final week of tests, think again. It would be far more work to fail these classes then spend another semester reduing the class.

And if you think you're golden and dont have to study for the finals, you might want to think again. Cruzing is fine during the semester because the logic is that you always have finals to bring it back up if you cruz too far. But hey, finals is all you got left, don't blow this one.

College matters. Big time now. Because now that it's common to have a college degree, it's no longer special. A college degree equals a high school degree now, and so you now must keep up the grades to qualify for graduate school.

School is not equaling what it used to anymore, soon you will need a college degree to work at McDonald's!

So yes, these grades are important. Congratulations for getting this far, I am thrilled as well and am having a great time, but most likely it's not over yet.

So keep up those grades. The semester is almost over, but it's not done quite yet. Push through the finals, study as hard as you can. Honestly, even with twenty units, using good time management skills are heaven for finals week, and it is really not that hard to find some quality time for studying.

So don't give up, there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Vacation is coming! For most of you, so is Christmas, for some, happy Hanukah. Have a break from school, spend time with your friends and family, rest, watch Golden Compass, and enjoy the free time. It doesn't last long.
